Is RHA Filler Right for Me?

Is RHA Filler Right for Me?

RHA fillers are FDA-approved, hyaluronic acid based fillers used for minimizing the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and folds. These fillers are designed for dynamic facial movement, allowing your face to look naturally rejuvenated rather than stiff and unnatural after treatment. RHA achieves its natural look due to its hyaluronic acid base that mimics the hyaluronic acid naturally found in the skin.

DermUtopia uses RHA filler to treat areas of the face that experience volume loss during the natural aging process.

Common areas that we use RHA filler to treat include:

  • Cheeks
  • Tear Troughs
  • Nasolabial Folds
  • Fine Lines Around the Mouth

What a filler visit with DermUtopia looks like:

  • Sign consents and discuss questions with doctor and medical staff
  • Take pictures before the treatment for your chart
  • Numb with topical lidocaine while listening to relaxing spa music
  • Receive treatment
  • Take pictures after the treatment for your chart

Most filler appointments take approximately 30-45 minutes from start to finish. As stated above, our staff will numb the areas Dr. Dintiman is going to treat to minimize discomfort. In addition, application of ice and a vibration device during the procedure will also minimize your discomfort. Dr. Dintiman uses a cannula technique which involves the insertion of a soft hollow tube to inject the filler to reduce needle pricking during the procedure.

If you are interested in scheduling a cosmetic consultation or filler appointment, call or text (703) 229-2544 to schedule.

Please note we do not book filler appointments right before you are traveling or going to have dental work done. With filler there is a possibility of bruising due to the use of the needle, so it is best to book your appointment away from major events such as weddings or parties.
