What is the difference between Xeomin & other Neuromodulators that smooth wrinkling?
Xeomin isolates only the active component of the neuromodulator, leaving out unnecessary proteins. This treatment is FDA-approved to treat frown lines and wrinkling of the skin. Results typically last for 3 to 4 months for most patients.
What does a Xeomin appointment look like?
Our Xeomin appointments typically take about 15 minutes. Our staff takes pictures of your face to track your progress, and use numbing gel to ensure that there is little to no pain during treatment. Dr. Dintiman creates a personalized dosage amount depending on where your wrinkling occurs, and how deep the wrinkling is. Dr. Dintiman then injects the Xeomin into the specific muscles that are linked to the wrinkling that occurs on the face.
When can I expect to see results from my Xeomin?
Smoothing of wrinkles and fine lines typically occurs 7-14 days after treatment. Some patients note that they begin to see their fine lines disappear starting at days 3 or 4.
